Earlier this year I was thinking, “Wow! The last three years my brief writings have been part of a beautiful collective!” When I was younger I had an interest in writing, and perhaps one day writing a book. Three years ago started this wonderful journey of writing and being published!
Now this isn’t my own book of course, but I was brave enough to take a baby-step to be part of this 365 Series of books. The authors are a wonderful group of heart-warming individuals who also love to share their thoughts and experiences with the world.
This reflection came to me when I became aware when the idea was proposed for our next book. There was so much going on in my life at the time and wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to find the time to participate, but I couldn’t say no.
Then I received the news that the next book was going to be called Goodness Abounds.
There has been so much tragedy around the world, friends and family struggling with personal issues, and I found myself doing my best to adjust to meeting the needs of my holistic practice, clients, and students. What a perfect time for a book with this title! Now what to write… I mean at the time I wasn’t a bundle of positivity.
Finally it came to me as I was reading the description of the book and preparing the calendar for the following month for the holistic practice. Loving Kindness! I had been integrating group meditations including a guided meditation on Loving Kindness. This has been one of my favorite meditations to remind myself that we are all human, to take a moment to accept self-love, and to cultivate the practice of being kind and loving to others as well.

It captures true heart-felt stories from over 250 contributing authors that will uplift, soothe, and comfort you during times of discouragement and bewilderment or when you want to spend a moment of time feeding your soul.
