I hope your new year is starting with wellness! I’m excited for this upcoming year, but went to bed last night not feeling so great with a sore throat and woke up dragging. This is not the way I wanted to start the year.
Why do I share this with you? Well, quite honestly, it’s my story on how I fell in love with doTERRA. About 4-5 years ago I was struggling with a sinus infection and a dear friend offered me some of her Onguard (Protective Blend) beadlets and oregano essential oil. I figured it couldn’t hurt to try them and within a week I was feeling better!
What I loved was that I didn’t have to go to the doctor and obtain prescriptions after trying them or anytime after illness relating to sinus issues any more. I used to be ill for 3-4 weeks on 2-3 rounds of anti-botics. Now, yes, I do get sinus issues from time to time, but not as often or for the duration. And yes, I do feel miserable for a few days as I would have in the past but, for not as long and I was able to take care of me naturally! I don’t know about you, but I prefer natural alternative ways to care for my health.
It’s that time of year when many of us are getting sick or trying to avoid illness. It seems that I am too. So, as I started years ago, I pulled out the beadlets and have been taking them regularly to restore my well-being. The Onguard products are wonderful and doTERRA has come out with an Onguard mouth wash that is pretty tasty!
Let me share with you what has helped me. Now, I’m not a doctor, nor do I offer medical advice and I can only speak of doTERRA essential oils and products. I can not guarantee the purity or what may be contained in other essential oil brands. These are just suggestions that have been helpful from my own experience with doTERRA. I started with a few things, the Onguard beadlets and oregano essential oil when I was ill. I have since started trying more products and replacing store bought products as they are natural and free of chemicals.

These are all great for feeling better and recovering from illness. In the long run, what I find that is most beneficial and from what I have read through the doTERRA blogs, is that integrating the use of the oils on a regular basis is going to help maintain your well-being.
The oils smell amazing and they seem like a treat! There are so many use of the essential oils and products, not only for feeling better. They are great for uplifting our mood, filling a room with a wonderful aroma, and making us feel good! We all deserve to feel good and live a fulfilling life.
